Ordinary Elephant - Joy Has Not Forgotten Me

I had been looking through the lineup for artists coming to play The Mucky Duck in Houston and that's how I found Ordinary Elephant. I fell in love with their sound immediately and listened to their most recent album non-stop for a week or two. I'm tempted to say something like "Ordinary Elephant is anything but Ordinary" but I won't. Crystal and Pete agreed to stop by, on their way back to Louisiana after a few shows in Texas, to let me record a few songs of theirs. I'm glad they did. I got a private concert on my own patio. We started recording under a tree and about 5 seconds in it started raining. So we had to pivot and shoot under the patio. The result is an organic mix of guitar, banjo, and rain. I hope you like it.
