In each match, two alliances (Red and Blue), consisting of two teams each, compete in a 15-second Autonomous Period followed by a 1-minute and 45-second Driver Controlled Period. Teams must strategically manage possession and field toggles to stack elements on goals and conquer the midfield.  Gameplay Objectives • Scoring Objects: The field contains 119 total game pieces, consisting of 56 Cups and 63 Pins. • Unique Stack Mechanic: Cups act as hollow hourglass capsules, while Pins are two-sided cones that fit inside them to build towers. • Goal Breakdown: Teams stack objects onto 9 total goals (4 Alliance-specific, 4 neutral Short Goals, and 1 neutral Tall Goal). • Toggle Control: Wall-mounted Toggles correspond to field quadrants and can be flipped to either Alliance color via spinning rollers. • Possession Limit: Robots are strictly limited to holding one Pin and one Cup at a time. • Descoring Restriction: Teams can only descore objects from their own Alliance goals; items placed in neutral or opponent goals are locked.  Scoring System • Alliance-Colored Pin: 5 points (when scored in a Goal matching the visible color). • Yellow Pin: 10 points (awarded to the Alliance that controls the Toggle in that quadrant). • Autonomous Bonus: 12 points (for the alliance scoring the highest during the opening period). • Midfield Parking (Endgame): 8 points per robot positioned in the contested central zone during the final 10 seconds.  Additional Rules & Strategy • Drivetrain Power Limit: The V5 drivetrain is capped at a 55-watt limit, forcing teams to design highly efficient wheel and torque configurations. • Expansion Boundaries: Robots start compressed at 18" x 18" but can expand horizontally up to 50 inches during gameplay.  • AI Integration: Every goal features integrated AprilTags, making the VEX AI Vision Sensor crucial for automatic orientation and color-sorting. • Strategic Play: Alliances face a high-stakes choice between rapid-cycling standard alliance pins, fighting for high-value yellow pins via field toggle control, or building heavy defensive bots optimized to dominate the endgame parking zone.
