Geese are more important than you think! Consequences if every true goose species disappears

Are geese actually that important? Indeed they likely are but do you even know what a goose actually is? This video briefly covers every species of true goose as well as some of those “untrue” geese. While some may hate geese, they are still an important part of many systems. You shouldn’t disregard them without understanding their case first. As with pretty much all of my content every picture is one that I have taken or made myself. This means that for every goose species that I have no picture of I had to do a little sketch. They are not super accurate or detailed but they get the point across. We are always learning new things so while this video is accurate (as of 2026) to the best of my knowledge in a few years time I may need to make some revisions. This is by far the longest video and as a result it took quite a while to complete. It also went through several changes before its completion. Hopefully pretty much all of the minor issues seen in previous videos have been resolved in this one.
