The red history museum brings Yugoslav life back to Dubrovnik
From the Yugo car, to kitchens with yellow cupboards, Tito’s portraits and vinyl records, Croatia’s Red History Museum has opened an exhibition in the city of Dubrovnik transporting visitors, locals and tourists to everyday life under communist Yugoslavia. As Adama Munu reports, the items and spaces on display demonstrate how history continues to shape memory and identity in the region. Across The Balkans, hosted by Semir Sejfovic, is TRT World’s programme focusing on the issues and fault lines shaping Southeast Europe today.
