The division covers an area of 9,565 km² and as of 2005 had a total population of 181,039. The capital of the division is Mamfe. The indigenes of Manyu pride themselves with Fufu and Eru which is one of the best African meal which originates from the Manyu clan and it is the most favorite dish for a manyu woman to present before her family.
