DIY Curly Haircut: Layering Curly Hair with Pigtails Cut

It’s time for a new DIY curly haircut! I used to do the unicorn haircut on my curly hair but because I got tired of the dramatic v-shape it gave my hair, I turned to professional curl stylists and still wasn’t able to get the kind of shape I was looking for. I’m trying out Manes by Mell pigtail haircut in hopes that it will help me layer my 3b/3c curly hair just the way I want it. Cutting your own curly hair at home is convenient but can be kind of scary.
