How to Release Psoas (Hip Flexors) INSTANTLY Without Stretching: DO THIS FIRST

In this video, I’ll guide you through a gentle Feldenkrais-style movement exploration for the psoas, hip flexors, pelvis, spine, and whole body. If your hip flexors feel tight, it can be tempting to stretch harder or try to “release” the psoas by force. But sometimes tightness is not simply a muscle-length problem. It may be connected to how your nervous system organizes protection, effort, posture, breathing, walking, and support. This lesson invites you to explore your hips and pelvis through slow, comfortable movement — without aggressive stretching or forcing. You may notice a quick change in how your hips feel, but the deeper purpose is not to “fix” your psoas instantly. The purpose is to help your brain and body discover more options for movement, support, and ease. Move slowly. Stay comfortable. Let the movements be small enough that you can feel what is happening. Please don’t push through pain or try to make the movement perfect. If you’d like a gentle written companion to this work, my short book Your Body Is Not Broken is available on Amazon Kindle and paperback here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GX363HMX My name is Taro Iwamoto. I’m a nervous system movement coach. I help people who feel stuck, tense, guarded, or disconnected from their bodies begin to move with more awareness, ease, trust, and freedom. This work is not about forcing your body into the “right” position. It is about learning to listen, sense, and move in a way that helps your body feel safer and more supported from the inside out. #PsoasRelease #TightHipFlexors #HipFlexors #Feldenkrais #SomaticMovement #TaroIwamoto
