"Bobby Bittman's Retirement" (1983) - A hilarious skit (actually there's 3) with Eugene Levy as everyone's favourite obnoxious comedian, Bobby Bittman! How are ya?? Taken from the final season of SCTV, originally broadcast on Superchannel (in Canada) and Cinemax (in the U.S.) in 1983-84. For the last season of SCTV, the regular cast had been whittled down to Joe Flaherty, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin and Martin Short, with supporting players: John Hemphill and Mary Charlotte Wilcox joining them. Thankfully, John Candy, Dave Thomas, and Catherine O'Hara made some memorable guest appearances and the last season had some very funny skits, like this one... which also features Ben Vereen, as himself (or a reasonable facsimile).
