My Geshe Tongo Feast Offering Ceremony at Drepung Loseling Monastery 2024

A ceremonial video of Ven.Tenzin Jangchup (Pankaj Rathore) on his Geshe Tongo Feast Ceremony at Drepung Losel Ling Monastery and Guge Khamtsen. Ven. Tenzin Jangchup (Pankaj Rathore) is a Buddhist monk learning at Drepung Losel Ling Monastic University in Karnataka, south India. He was born on 27th July, 1991 to Mr. Nawang Chhetan and Mrs. Kamlesh Kumari at village Moorang in Kinnaur district, Himachal Pardesh, north India. At the age of 13 in 2004, he set out with the aim of becoming Buddhist monk and joined Drepung Losel Ling Monastic University, Mundgod Karnataka for further study and joined prestigious Drepung Loseling Monastic University popularly known as second Nalanda University in Karnataka, South India. Then he was abide in the vow of Pratimoksha in that same year and became Sramanera, a novice-monk. Now he has completed the all courses of studies in this Monastery Treasury under the invaluable guidance of spiritual Gurus including His Eminence Geshe Nawang Kelsang, Geshe Tenzin Zangpo, Geshe Nawang Tharpa, Geshe Kunzik Dakpa and Geshe Dawa Sangpo so on. Eventually, with the blessings of his spiritual Gurus and the kindness bestowed upon him by his adorable family and benevolent relatives, he could have this opportunity for the accumulation of merits through offering Geshe Tongo feast to all monks in the Monastery and at Khamtsen on 7th and 10th respectively in the month of February, 2024.
