Wilhelm Mohnke — This SS General Watched Hitler Die. Then Walked Away And Nobody Could Touch Him.
He was one of the first men to join Hitler's personal bodyguard. He commanded SS forces in France, the Eastern Front, and Normandy. He was in Hitler's bunker during the final days of the Third Reich. British investigators spent decades trying to put him in prison for a massacre in Belgium that killed eighty Allied soldiers. He died in a nursing home in 2001 at the age of ninety, having never been charged with anything. This is the story of Wilhelm Mohnke, the SS general who was at the very beginning and the very end of the Third Reich and walked away from all of it a free man. ⚠️ EDUCATIONAL CONTENT DISCLAIMER: This video is made strictly for educational and historical documentation purposes.
