¿Qué está pasando en La Guaira 15 días después del terremoto? | Regreso a Caraballeda
Fifteen days have passed since I documented the first hours of the earthquake in La Guaira. I returned to Caraballeda, specifically to the Caribe area, to answer the question many have asked me: What is really happening today? Two weeks after the disaster, the reality is complex. In this report, I not only try to show the current state of the rubble, where the search continues with a determination that moves me deeply, but also to map what support remains active, which institutions are operating, and, above all, what our people need most right now. In this report, I address: The situation in Caribe and Caraballeda: What is daily life like after 15 days of struggle? Who is still helping? I highlight the volunteers and organizations that have not abandoned the area. Aid route: I detail the available assistance centers and the official channels for donating safely. Testimonies: I spoke with survivors and family members who are still waiting for answers among the rubble. The emergency doesn't end when the cameras stop rolling. This is my commitment: to keep the spotlight on where it's needed most. I'm Aymara Lorenzo, and I continue to listen to the realities of our people. Thank you for continuing to spread the word and help.
