Intro | Fast Twist 270 Winchester | Little Crow Gunworks
In this video we introduce our Fast Twist 270 Winchester Project. We begin by performing our 15 shot ladder test with 2 different powders and the Nosler 130gr Ballistic Tip. We want to use the 130gr Ballistic Tip to establish a baseline of performance, like what you could achieve with a conventional twist 270 Winchester. From which we can then compare the performance of slower, but higher ballistic coefficient bullets that can be used with fast twist barrels. We will be using all tools and technology currently available to us to complete this video series. Including but not limited to: LabRadar Chronograph, Longshot Ranger+ Camera system, Gordon's Reloading Tool & the AB Analytics Ballistic Solver.
