Pour the dissolved cornmeal mixture in a thin stream into the boiling water, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. 4. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent sticking. Stir in the evaporated milk until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. 5.
