How to Change Front Brake Pads & Rotors on 2010-2017 Chevy Equinox & GMC Terrain
In this video we walk through the OEM steps to replace the front brake rotors and pads on a 2015 Chevy Equinox. Although some repair places will quote you $800 or more for this job, the part they don't tell you is they most likely are using generic aftermarket rotors and pads. By doing this job yourself, not only do you save money, but you can install premium OE or very similar to ensure you have great brakes that will last many years. When the OE parts are way overpriced or not available, I have come to rely on these Bosch Quitecast rotors (fully coated will not rust!) and pads as they are a great OE alternative that will not rust like the generic aftermarket rotors. This process is the same for various other GM vehicles from 2010-2017 including: Chevy Equinox, Impala & Malibu, GMC Terrain, and Buick Lacrosse & Regal.
