This video describes a homemade function generator that produces sine and triangle waves from 1 Hz to 30 MHz, as well as a square wave from 1 Hz to 150 MHz. The generator is built using AD9833 and Si5351 microchips, and is controlled by an Atmega328P microcontroller. The code was written in the Arduino development environment, so the processor includes an Arduino bootloader. There are two ways to replicate this project: flash the controller on an Arduino Nano board, then reinstall it on the device board, possibly along with the CH340 microchip, to enable firmware updates.
