Super Mario Bros. 3 (1): World 1 - Grass Land

"Three's a Crowd-Pleaser" Super Mario Bros. 3 was a return to form and then some after the plumber's dreamy previous offbeat adventure. I enjoyed that one, but this 1990 release is one of the best the NES has to offer. Considering the upgrades in gameplay, looks, and level design, I bet a lot of people out there also share that opinion. Now then, this Mushroom World is our stage, so let's start with our opening act! Grass Land, the only world with one name, is where Mario's journey begins. It won't take long for us to fly high with one awesome power-up and get to stomping out a whole new cast of foes, whether it be the mooks, a miniboss, or one of Bowser's seven deadly sinners that await us at the end of these areas. There's plenty of secrets abound along the way, so grab a seat. It's showtime!
