Starting with the design, the Corvette E-Ray gets the wide-body of the Z06 so it’s almost 10cm wider than the standard car. The Corvette E-Ray is powered by the same 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 as the standard car but that’s where the similarities end as the E-Ray comes with hybrid power as well! The engine powers the rear wheels alone but the E-Ray is actually AWD as it has an electric motor on the front axle that when combined with the engine puts out a total of 644hp and 778nm of torque. All that hybrid tech comes at cost though as this E-Ray weighs 1,907kg! The E-Ray starts from around £153,440, which is around £55,000 more than the regular C8 Corvette. So is it worth it?
