Pushing Limits: A 61-Hour 340 Mile Adventure
This link is to my Amazon Store where I do get a commission on purchases, but these are the cheapest links I can find: https://amzn.to/4oOKs0R 61 hours 25 minute to be more accurate :): I first heard about the Missouri River 340 (MR340) right before I did the 2025 Everglades Challenge this year and I immediately signed up with minimal information other than the distance, location and the time limits. I had no idea if I could actually do it, or how my mind and body would react after such a long time without sleep, but I wanted to give it a try and see if I could get my name in the books as a finisher. As it turns out, I did pretty well and I owe a lot of gratitude to my ground crew (my dad and Stepmom) who were able to get everything I needed, to where I needed it, and when I needed it which is a difficult task over the 340 miles of winding possibilities. My overall feelings about the race are that it is well put together and for a good cause. The Missouri River Relief is who runs the race and they do so as both an awareness and as a fundraiser to keep the river clean, and I can definitely support a good conservation effort like that! Especially under the disguise of having some fun and friendly competition :) We are already talking about doing it again next year, too. See you at Kaw Point!!
