Renegades Were Right… I Should’ve Watched The

The Renegades told me I needed to watch the official video for Ren — Sick Boi, and now I understand why. I originally reacted to the audio because I wanted to focus on the music, the lyrics, the production, and Ren’s storytelling without being distracted by the visuals. But after hearing from the Renegades, I realized the video is a major part of the full art piece. So this reaction is me going back and doing it the right way. In this video, I react to the official Sick Boi video, break down what I’m noticing, talk about the pig mask, the asylum/doctor setting, Ren’s heavy breathing, the storytelling, the Lyme disease references, the industry pressure, and how every sound and visual seems to have a purpose. Ren is clearly not just rapping. He is producing, acting, directing, storytelling, and building a full experience around the music.
