Vom Weltreisenden zum Krebspatienten

It's been very quiet on my account the last few days... life has given me a new challenge. After two worrying weeks in Sicily, I returned to Germany on June 1st with the help of my brother. From the airport straight to the hospital, two hours later, I received a diagnosis that I still don't understand: acute leukemia. My body has produced far too many false white blood cells. My immune system is at zero. I just wanted to give you a little update so you know what's going on. The next few weeks will certainly not be easy, but of course, I'll do my best and fight. And I'll update you here from time to time. I won't be able to respond in detail to questions or messages individually. I need all my energy to fight right now. I don't regret a second of my last four years of traveling. I've experienced and seen so much, and now I hope I can recharge my batteries with so much energy. I still can't believe it... In any case, enjoy every moment, every opportunity in your life. You never know what stroke of fate will come out of nowhere. You always think it will never happen to you... And here I am.
