Popular Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has been removed from office, officially amid a conflict with Ukraine’s military leadership. “For a long time, analysts in Ukraine have suggested that Volodymyr Zelenskyy is wary of potential rivals in future elections,” says Marta Shokalo, Editor-in-Chief of BBC News Ukrainian, in World Talks. According to her, Fedorov’s departure could trigger a serious political crisis.
