Chain Snap on my Yamaha XJ6N - What Went Wrong?

After just 1500km of riding my recently purchased Yamaha XJ6N, disaster struck. While accelerating out of an uphill turn, the chain suddenly snapped, leading to a devastating incident. Fortunately, there were no injuries and the bike didn't fall over as it happened at a very low speed. However, the chain got tangled and caused significant damage, including a dent in the crankcase and several other shattered parts.
