What Latin America Taught Me About Community

The more I travel throughout Latin America, the more I notice something that’s becoming rare in many places: people take time for people. From conversations in parks and cafés to invitations into homes, churches, and even weddings, I’ve experienced a level of community that goes far beyond small talk. As an introvert, I’ve found that some of the most meaningful connections happen when people are willing to slow down, share their stories, and genuinely listen to yours. This isn’t just about travel—it’s about the power of human connection.
