The BEST Focal Length for Everyday Photography (POV)

For the past couple years I've been on a mission to find my ideal lens for everyday photography. After a recent conversation I realized that I've never truly tried an absolute "must have" lens. Using my trusty 16-50mm kit lens I dial into to a very specific focal length that people rave about as the perfect all around field of view.
