I Thought This Would Be a Normal Day… (Van Life Reality)

I thought this would be a simple day… but that’s not always how van life goes. I’m currently living full-time in my Toyota Coaster bus in Australia, and what looked like a normal day quickly turned into something very different. From water and cooking issues, to overheating solar, finding leaks inside, and dismantling half the bus — this is what van life is really like behind the scenes. I’ve recently come back to Australia and am looking after my mum while she’s unwell, so this is a bit of a different chapter of bus life for me. Not the big adventures, but the real, everyday moments — the good, the frustrating, and everything in between.
