Shane speaks Welsh

In 1978 HTV decided to dub three famous films into Welsh. 'Frankenstein must be destroyed', 'Shane' and 'The Sin of Father Mouret'. There was uproar, particularly about Alan Ladd, the star of Shane speaking in Welsh. Ironically during the 'golden age' of the Wild West, tens of thousands of welsh people emigrated to America and ironically recent research has found close to a hundred welsh speaking cowboys from that period many of them infamous gunslingers.
