I adore this song! As a singer, there are lots of harmonies for me to sing along with, and as a dancer, it's a Samba, which means sitting still when it comes on is not an option. Even though it isn't my full-time job, I perform at least once every two weeks with a vocal consort and am part of another small ensemble specialising in unaccompanied vocal performance. I don't have as many opportunities as I would like for solo performances, but I do them as often as I can. Between performing and a sewing hobby, I have a fairly good knowledge of costuming for dance in particular, and I enjoy seeing how costumes can add to or detract from a performance.
