Surviving the Ruts on New Floating Bridge | Riverhead Forest Amflow POV Run

Starting a brand new day of riding at Riverhead Forest, dropping in from the Barlow Road side! For this session, I'm playing the role of the official camera bike, chasing the crew down to try and get everyone on film at least once on the descents. First up on the list is New Floating Bridge. To be completely honest, this isn't a trail I usually enjoy. It has a habit of getting incredibly rutted out, which can make some of the steep descents properly difficult and sketchy to navigate. Luckily for us, the ruts weren't running too bad on this specific day, but it still keeps you on your toes when you're trying to hold a tight camera line behind the group. Check out the full trail preview to see how the track is holding up! Trail Rating for Average Riders: Trail Name / Park: New Floating Bridge (Barlow Road - Riverhead Forest, Auckland) Pucker Factor: 5/10 (Usually higher when the ruts are bottomless!) I started my mountain biking adventure in December 2022 and have been slowly, painfully progressing ever since. If you are looking for 30-foot gap jumps and flawless cornering, you are on the wrong side of YouTube. This is just raw trail previews for normal humans, featuring sketchy line choices, questionable fitness, and a healthy dose of survival instinct.
