Mobley passed away at her home in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday, December 9th, 2014 at age 77 from breast cancer. Guest actor Ed Platt is best known for his work in "Get Smart" as Thaddeus, the Chief. Guest actor Stanley Adams is best known to science fiction TV fans as appearing as a Tribble dealer in "Star Trek" in the season 2 classic episode titled "The Trouble with Tribbles" (Original premier airdate: Friday, December 29th, 1967 at 8:30 PM on NBC) and as a giant carrot in "Lost in Space" season 3 episode "The Great Vegetable Rebellion" (Original premier airdate: Wednesday, February 28th, 1968 at 7:30 PM on CBS). This series "Love, American Style" aired on ABC TV for 5 television seasons. Originally it was in a one-hour format for seasons 1,3,4 & 5 on ABC. Season 2 was shortened to a half-hour format. Like the Rod Serling one-hour horror anthology series "Night Gallery" on NBC, "Love, American Style" was butchered to a scrambled half-hour format when it was syndicated for television reruns in the 1970's. Only season 1 was released onto DVD in the original one-hour format back in 2008.
