3 Colours Red - 'My Own Gauge' Demo for Pure

My Own Gauge was recorded during a rehearsal in 1995 at Hammersmith Studios in London. It was one of a selection of demos for the debut album Pure recorded before 3 Colours Red were signed to Creation Records. This song features Pete Vuckovic on vocals and bass, Chris McCormack on guitar and backing vocals and Strange Nature's Justin Rabbetts on drums. The drum kit was a Drum Workshop 1991 Collectors Series maple 22"/12"/16", with a vintage Ludwig 402 snare, 14" Paiste Signature Sound Edge hi hats, 16" and 18" Paiste Signature Crashes and a 20" Dry Ride. A re-recorded track can be found on the album If You Ain't Got a Weapon. 3 Colours Red released 5 albums in total and enjoyed top twenty chart success with the final line up including Chris and Pete plus Ben Harding (guitars - later replaced by Paul Grant) and Keith Baxter on drums.
