Skull of Impending Doom The Skull of Impending Doom is an off-hand item that, when equipped, increases your movement speed by 60%, deals 100-500 damage, and drains 100-500 mana every 2 seconds. For 10 seconds. The speed boost is certainly nice, but the skull's main effect is damage. In PvP, the ability to deal self-damage is crucial. Damage frees you from ongoing crowd control, which is very useful since Classic doesn't have a maximum duration for chain crowd control (yes, crowd control is subject to diminishing returns, but you can still get Polymorph for 30 seconds). If you use the Skull of Impending Doom, you'll gain damage over time and immunity to most crowd control effects for a full 10 seconds. You can obtain the skull in the Badlands by completing a short questline from Theldurin the Lost (his location is marked on the map). Quests are available to both factions. If you already have a skull, do not sell it under any circumstances. Many players make this mistake, not realizing the true value of the item, and skull owners have an advantage over them. Shortcut to Molten Core The Molten Core raid dungeon is located in the heart of Blackrock Mountain. To reach the entrance, players must run along chains and rocks. This path takes too much time, but few know that it can be shortened. In the northern part of the mountain, there is a ledge above the lava. If you jump onto this ledge, you will directly reach the lower chain. Some players jump in two steps or directly into the lava (provided they have the ability to ignore heavy fire damage). Magic Candle One of the main drawbacks of a Paladin in Classic is the lack of ranged attack abilities.
