Oyo School Hostages: Don’t Play Politics with Our life’s – Abducted Oyo Principal

Twenty-four days after armed men abducted pupils and teachers from schools in Oriire Local Government Area, Oyo State, one of the victims has made a heart-wrenching plea from captivity. Mrs Rachael Alamu, principal of Community High School, Ahoro-Esiele, appeals to Nigerians to focus on peaceful negotiations rather than politicised speculation. In a distressing video, she refutes claims that the abductors are demanding money, weapons, or Sharia law, and urges authorities to prioritise her and the other hostages’ safe return.
