Excavations have been underway for the second year in a row at a settlement dating back to the early Saka period. The head of the excavation is Doctor of Historical Sciences Zeynolla Samashev. This is a discovery that our country's archaeologists have been waiting for since the first discovery of jewelry made in the Saka style, amazing in its beauty and complexity, in ancient tombs. It is impossible that the people who created such masterpieces of craftsmanship were only nomadic. Therefore, scientists carefully studied the region where the Saka lived, identifying places where they could settle and engage in various occupations. Mount Akbaur resembles a pyramid. Ancient people considered it the center of the world, the center of the universe, and, according to the concepts of ancient communities, it could be opposed to the rest of the world.
