Ear Training for Voice Over Recording | Part 2 (Noise, Reverb, Acoustic, Electric)

Training your ear to listen like an audio engineer is an important part of the voice over process. As voice over talent spend a great deal of time recording themselves, it's important to be conscious of audio issues that can occur in the home studio. In this video, part two of our two part ear training guide, we'll cover several audio issues including: room noise, your room's noise floor, room sizes and how they effect the reverb in your space, and acoustic and electric noise. We're going to cover the variables you can control and help you to calibrate your ear with what a good audition should sound like, and what you can do to fix basic audio issues you're experiencing in your own audio booth.
