Today's episode is quite punk. A swamp-dwelling plant with diverse medicinal uses: chapéu-de-couro (Echinodorus grandiflorus). It's also drinkable as hot and iced tea, sparkling wine, and beer. Here we present two previously unknown uses: the water or sap from some stems or petioles, and the bare stem with uses similar to celery. We don't show it, but guinea pigs and rabbits love the leaves and stems. It's also already used in the soft drink industry.
