Chaka Khan ~ Clouds 1980 Disco Purrfection Version

Surprisingly, Chaka's "I'm Every Woman" was not the mover it is today having peaked at #30 on the Disco Chart in early 1979 and then at #20 on the Hot 100. Her follow up, the Ashford & Simpson composition, "Clouds", fared almost as well in the clubs, reaching #31 but did stay on the disco charts for 18 weeks whereas "I'm Every Woman" appeared for only five weeks on the same chart back in 1979. Another mystery why there was not an extended version...I hope I've done it some justice!
