3 Days Ice Fishing & Snowshoeing Lake Superior’s North Shore

This journey started as a solo mission into one of the coldest environments I've experienced. With temperatures down to -30°F, I head out alone onto the frozen edge of Lake Superior's North Shore. I found myself drilling holes and setting up in brutal conditions that pushed both my gear and my determination to the limit. But the trip doesn't end there. On the last day, Nicole joins me and the adventure shifts to exploration. We were snowshoeing along the rugged shoreline, walking beside opening water and traveling through some of the most remote, wild and beautiful winter country in North America.
