Learning a language is more than communication — it reshapes how we think, express ourselves, and see the world. My name is Alisa, I am 15 years old and I moved to Cyprus from Russia 1,5 years ago. I speak Russian, English and a little bit Greek and noticed that in every one of them I feel and behave differently. When I communicate with friends who don’t speak Russian I feel as if I’m a different person. I am interesting in how language shapes our perception, personality and our sense of self in different contexts.
