The transition from spring to summer is one of the most magical, yet busy, times in the garden! In this video (for the week of June 19th to 26th), I share my action plan with you. We're perfectly timed for the fruiting season and a wave of beautiful summer weather. In this episode, you'll learn: 🌱 What else can you sow in your vegetable garden now (green beans, cucumbers, and zucchini for a late harvest). 🌸 What biennial flowers should we sow NOW for seedlings so that next year the garden will be awash in flowers (pansies, hollyhocks, foxgloves, and many more!). 🥔 When to start harvesting early potatoes. 🔋 What to do with the huge amount of green matter from weeding and mowing (tips for building a compost pile). But a garden isn't just about work! The shortest night of the year and Midsummer's Eve are the perfect excuse to slow down, light a bonfire with your neighbors, and simply enjoy the space we're creating. I invite you to watch!
