Since last year, my store has been offering smoke mines, which are an absolute hit at weddings and other outdoor events! The mines are, of course, available in various variants. The most powerful category F4 mines require a permit and license, but the slightly weaker (and still successfully used for commercial purposes) category F2 and F3 mines can be purchased by any adult consumer in Poland. The tricky part begins when a customer buys such mines and wants to set them off all at once. They can then either purchase a wireless system (e.g., spArkcontrol from my store, although if the set-off is a one-time event, it might not be very cost-effective), or they can go directly with the cells, which is obviously the cheapest option. For these people, I've prepared a simple tutorial that will allow you to set off 5 minutes simultaneously with a single 9V cell. The additional costs (cables, cell, stakes, etc.) will be a few tenner, which will still translate into huge savings compared to hiring a service provider. 💥 At the same time, this video demonstrates the many aspects that must be considered when implementing such a project.
