For a village of its size, Rakov has preserved a remarkable number of valuable landmarks. One of the main attractions is the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior. This church was built at the Uniate Basilian Monastery in 1793. In front of the church in Rakov stands an ancient bell tower, built in 1887 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the abolition of serfdom. Another important landmark in Rakov is the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary and St. Dominic, built in 1906. In the second half of the 20th century, this church was closed; the building housed a store and warehouse. Services in the church resumed only in the early 1990s, when the building was returned to the Catholic Church. At the same time, the church in Rakov village underwent restoration.
