We continue to Täschalp at 2200m, where parking is also free. The trail leads us to the Täschhütte at 2700m. From here, we head towards the glacier, where we change into hiking boots. From 3300m, we continue on the Wandgletscher towards the Alphubeljoch at 3772m. From here, we head north over the ice nose to the summit of the 4206m Alphubel. The slope is approximately 45° at its steepest point.
