MSD 6AL 2 Install, Vortec SBC OBS Chevy Truck GMT400, My First Step In Launch Control

Starting to paint the bigger picture for the future in this one. Installing the MSD ignition box, Specifically the 6AL-2 with the built in 2 Step. This is just one piece of the puzzle when it comes to prepping a vehicle for performance use especially when trying to launch efficiently. You can absolutely foot brake and hold the gas to try to achieve the RPM you want to get to and launch at. A 2 step rev limiter lets you set the point you want your RMS to be while holding the gas then letting go of a button to accelerate past that point. They also have a harnesses specific to a lot of applications to minimize splicing and cutting. You do not need these. You can cut and splice and still be perfectly fine. Hopefully those interested in this can find this useful and answer your questions. I still have a few more things I have to find the time to install. Next I'm hoping is the line lock. Also Holley/ MSD customer service is great. Spoke with them prior to this install.
