Their Majesties the King and Queen, Her Royal Highness the Princess of Asturias and Her Royal Highness the Infanta Doña Sofía visited Asiegu and presented the Exemplary Town of Asturias Award in its thirtieth edition, for the dedication and work of its inhabitants, for maintaining traditions, preserving and recovering its heritage, protecting its natural environment, improving its quality of life, as well as for motivating the return of emigrants and attracting tourists.
