Christmas in July: A Vintage White Christmas Home Tour | Photographed For Country Sampler

We first featured Paula Bruso's Connecticut farmhouse for its warm summer charm, but it turns out her home has just as much magic to offer in the winter months. When we mentioned Paula's home to our editor at Country Sampler, she immediately wanted to see how it looked decorated for the holidays. We scouted the home again on a trip through New England, and returned just before Paula took her decorations down for the season to capture this Christmas story. Paula describes her palette as "sepia tones" — muted, natural colors that carry through every room, whether it's July or December. For Christmas, that translates into a home dressed in whites, creams and soft greens, with twinkling lights and over a dozen trees tucked into corners throughout her home. Her love of birds and nature carries through the holiday styling too, with nests, feathers and woodland creatures worked into nearly every vignette. There is such wonderful whimsy in her decorating that matches the season's spirit.
