London's Docklands Light Railway - Part 2
Part 1: • London's Docklands Light Railway - Part 1 This is the second part of the film showing the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) in London. It also briefly features the London Underground Jubilee line at the end. The film shows the heavily-used branch from Poplar to Canning Town. Here, the DLR runs three-carriage trains on an elevated concrete structure in the midst of new residential and commercial developments. We first take a look at Blackwall station, which is the next eastbound station after Poplar. The film then shows East India station, before we move to Canning Town station, which is a major interchange station with four DLR platforms and two London Underground platforms. As this was filmed right during rush hour, the station is rather busy. We first watch some DLR trains before the film concludes with a few shots of the Jubilee line. Enjoy! Recorded: October 20, 2015.
