The Stargate Villain You LOVE To Hate (Dial the Gate)
HARRY MAYBOURNE is one of Stargate SG-1's best antagonists. Played by actor Tom McBeath, Maybourne went from a detestable military Colonel to a savvy and lovable rogue over the show's long run. In this conversation with "Dial the Gate" McBeath reminisces about two of Maybourne's most memorable episodes. In Season 4's "Watergate" Jack and Teal'c find the disgraced Colonel frozen in a Russian freezer, where he's been taken over by an alien entity. And in "Paradise Lost" Maybourne uses Furling technology to escape to what he thinks is a utopian society, only to slowly be driven insane by a hallucinogenic plant.
