TRIBUN TIMUR.COM – A joint team from the Indonesian National Police (Polri) confiscated gold bars and cash worth IDR 476 billion during a search of a house in the Sentul area, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Wednesday (July 8, 2026). The search was related to alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) cases involving PLN coal, PT Asabri, and Krakatau Steel. The Head of the National Police's Corruption Crimes Unit, Inspector General Totok Suharyanto, said investigators found a locked safe containing seven suitcases containing 74 kilograms of gold bars, US$4,767,300, S$14,083,800, and IDR 100 million in cash. "A locked safe was found. After opening it, it contained seven suitcases. The first contained 74 kilograms of gold bullion. Then 4,767,300 USD. Then 14,083,800 SGD. Then 100 million rupiah.
