A Thames Television production for ITV, Eamonn Andrews surprises Richard (My father-in-law) with The Big Red Book - Just two weeks before he has the fight of his life in Germany against Muhammad Ali for the Heavyweight Championship of the World. He earned his shot by becoming British & Commonwealth champion, then going on to beat Bernd August for the European Heavyweight Title. Muhammed Ali appears in the programme as his scintillating and mischievous self, taunting Richard as their battle approaches; And Richard's story is told as his family and friends all descend on Teddington Studios to pay tribute to and to pass on good luck messages to their favourite pal / colleague / husband... and Daddy of three.
