Others traveled through Spanish Texas, crossed from France aboard the seven ships of 1785, or arrived from Saint-Pierre and Miquelon. These families were also settled in different parts of Louisiana, including Attakapas, Bayou Teche, St. James, St. Gabriel, Opelousas, Bayou Lafourche, and communities along the Mississippi River. This documentary follows those migration routes through historical accounts, settlement records, church documents, surname variants, and Louisiana genealogy.
